The Xoft System utilizes electronic brachytherapy to provide expanded treatment options for a range of cancers. The Xoft System is FDA cleared, CE marked, and licensed in a growing number of countries for the treatment of cancer anywhere on the body.
Using the World’s Smallest X-ray source
Using the world’s smallest X-ray source, it delivers a precise, concentrated dose of radiation directly to the tumor site, which targets cancer cells while minimizing the risk of damage to healthy tissue in nearby areas of the body. Our proprietary, miniaturized x-ray source is isotope-free and operates at 50 kV to deliver high dose rate, low energy radiation. The source is placed inside the applicator and energized to deliver a precise, prescribed dose of radiation.
Skin applicators deliver
a focused approach
Our skin applicators are a key component of the Xoft System, enabling targeted treatment of surface lesions on or in the body. With sizes ranging from 10mm to 50mm, eBx offers a wide range of applicators providing physicians with maximum flexibility in treating a variety of lesion sizes. More than 10,000 patients have been successfully treated with skin eBx.

Electronic Brachytherapy (eBx) is specifically designed and optimized for surface treatments of non-melanoma skin cancers. DermaCure RT utilizes the Xoft skin eBx system allowing enhanced patient positioning and comfort while simplifying the ability to target the treatment site with maximum precision.
DermaCure RT uses high-resolution dermoscopic images to visualize the subsurface layers of the skin prior to treatment. This imaging permits macroscopic evaluation of the dermo-epidermal junction.
The use of a dermoscopic digital imaging process for 
acquiring skin lesions provides sophisticated functionalities for an automated feature and lesion assessment for quantitative analysis. DermaCure RT’s imaging procedure allows for a non-invasive examination of the skin lesion morphology in real-time.
