Electronic brachytherapy (eBx) is specifically designed and optimized for surface treatments of non-melanoma skin cancers. DermaCure RT utilizes the Xoft skin eBx system allowing enhanced patient positioning and comfort while simplifying the ability to target the treatment site with maximum precision.
DermaCure RT uses high-resolution dermoscopic images to visualize the subsurface layers of the skin prior to treatment. This imaging permits macroscopic evaluation of the dermo-epidermal junction.
The use of a dermoscopic digital imaging process for acquiring
skin lesions provides sophisticated functionalities for an automated feature and lesion assessment for quantitative analysis. DermaCure RT’s imaging procedure allows for a non-invasive examination of the skin lesion morphology in real-time.
